Tutorial: No Load Time
Note: Ignore if are an advanced Turker
Things to note.
- Download and install Firefox 1.5
- Open Firefox and install the TabSwitcher Extension in it
- Restart Firefox
- Goto Tools > Extensions > Select TabSwitcher > Click Options > Click on the textbox to the right of "Next Tab" > Press the keyboard key or combination of keys that you wish for firefox to goto the next tab when pressed (I suggust F4) > repeat for "Previous Tab" (I suggust F2) > Click "OK > Close Extensions window
- Goto find Available HIT's
- Find desired HIT group > Right Click "View a HIT in this Group" > Click "Open Link in new Tab" > Repeat for desired number of tabs (I suggest 4-10 depending on your connection speed and Turking speed, experiment)
- Now when an HIT is completed and submitting, press your keyboards key(s) for the next tab, and BAM, no need to wait for HIT's to load, just go.
Things to note.
- If one of your tabs is on an error screen, press F5 (refresh) and go to the next.

You can also middle click links to open in a new tab, which is much faster in my experience.
Opening multiple tabs is slowing things down for your fellow turkers. This is exactly what leads to "this hit was already accepted by someone else". Please only do one tab at once, or at most two.
that's MTurk's problem...they can/will fix it eventually
But one shouldn't have to wait to Turk...and until they have preloading support (if they ever do) this is a nice alternative
